IMPHAL, Feb 28 : The National People's Party (NPP) has appointed Mmhonlumon Kikon as general secretary (political) with immediate effect.
In a notification issued under Article 11 of the party's constitution, NPP National president Conrad K Sangma said that the appointment was made in furtherance of the party's objectives, principles and organisational mandate. Kikon has been entrusted with coordinating structured dialogue with political parties and stakeholders across the Northeastern States to advance the vision of "One North East".
