East Zone Inter University Tournament MU Handball teams head to Meghalaya

IMPHAL, Feb 8 : Manipur University men and women teams were flagged off today for the East Zone Inter University Handball Tournament beginning on February 10 at University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya.
The men’s team managed by Dr S Thoithoi, Asst Prof Biramangol College and coached by Th Robindro, NIS Handball Coach include Angom Suraj of Pravabati College and I Roshan of Ng Mani College as the goalkeepers besides A Premson of Pravabati College, A Manichandra of Pravabati College, L Hemba of Biramangol College, Lairenlakpam Beckham of Biramangol College, A Tondonba of Ng Mani College, N Shitaljit of Ng Mani College, I Kenedy of N Birahari College, Khumujam Mocha of Manipur University, Th Abhijit of Biramangol College and Okram Nivash of Manipur University.
The women’s team managed by M Apabi, Asst Prof Biramangol College and coached by N Manigun, NIS Handball Coach in the meantime include H Niteshwori of Mayai Lambi College and H Abya of Manipur College as goalkeepers alongside Kh Veronica of Biramangol College, I Berlice of Manipur University, Y Monica of SSG Girls’ College, I Ronibala of SSG Girls’ College, K Sonia of SSG Girls’ College, L Umabati of SSG Girls’ College, Ningombam Deepa of Biramangol College, Th Anjali of Biramangol College, N Robia of N Birahari and L Loidangtombi of Biramangol College.
The event will run till February 14.
