MNCA flags off State team for Women’s U23 One Day Trophy 2025-26

IMPHAL, Feb 28 : The Manipur Cricket Association has today flagged off the State team who will be representing Manipur at the Women’s U23 One Day Trophy 2025-26 Plate Group beginning on March 3 in Chandigarh.
The State team include 15 athletes and 5 support staff.
The athletes who made it to the State team include Thoudam Mangalsana (Captain), Haorungbam Kiranbala (VC), Taniya Ningthoujam, Laishram Teresa (WK), Laishram Niruka, Tongbram Nilky, Konsam Sayatombi, Naoroibam Sophiya, Barkatun Khanam, Konjengbam Nonibala, Sapam Kebriya, Athokpam Tennish, Palujam Kiranbala, Olebia Khundrakpam and Najiya Begum. The support staff meanwhile comprise Ningthoujam Monica as the manager, Irengbam Ibobi as the coach, Moirangthem Thoi Thoi Singh as the assistant coach, Joyeeta Phurailatpam as the trainer and SM Fahima Praveen as the physiotherapist.
Manipur will open their campaign against Arunachal Pradesh on March 3 before playing Meghalaya on March 5, Mizoram on March 7, Sikkim on March 9 and Nagaland on March 11.
The top two teams after round robin league of the Plate group will fight it out for the group’s top honour on March 13.
