MLA inaugurates new building

IMPHAL, Mar 1: A new building and sports complex of Meira Association at Bashikhong was inaugurated today.
MLA Thongam Biswajit inaugurated the building, constructed under the MLA Local Area Development Fund.
Speaking at the event, the MLA said the State Government under Yumnam Khemchand is taking up positive steps to restore normalcy and foster peaceful coexistence of all communities. The Chief Minister's recent visit to Jiribam was welcomed positively by the people. It was a visit aimed at restoring normalcy, peace and fostering coexistence of all communities, he said. For complete normalcy to return to Manipur, people must learn to forgive each other, he said. The Government, he said, is taking every effort to restore complete normalcy and allow free and safe movement of people of all communities on the Highways. Members of some communities have started visiting Imphal. No harm has been done to them, and they are visiting the valley normally, he said.
