All roads to be blacktopped : MLA

IMPHAL, Mar 1 : Patsoi AC MLA Sapam Kunjakeswor (Keba) has announced that all roads in his Constituency would be blacktopped this month (March).
He made the statement while inspecting the road development project along the 2.6 km stretch from Tera Lukram Leirak to the stretch leading to Tiddim Road.
The project is being taken up by Keystone Private Limited.
Speaking to the media on the sideline, the MLA stated that while Keystone Private Limited is generally a reputable company, it takes time to complete projects as it executes multiple projects simultaneously, causing inconvenience to the public.
He assured that he would take immediate action by consulting with various contractors to expedite the completion of all road projects in Patsoi.
Work is underway to blacktop all roads in Patsoi under the new State Government led by Chief Minister Y Khemchand, he said.
About 80 percent of the roads in Patsoi have already been blacktopped, he said and reiterated that all roads in his Constituency, except those executed by other companies, would be blacktopped by the end of this month.
He sought public support in the execution of the road projects.
