Teacher abducted in broad daylight

IMPHAL, Mar 11: A 40-year-old Assistant Teacher of Manipur Creative School has been abducted by unknown persons this morning. The incident occurred at Hatta Itakhola area at around 8.30 am. The Assistant Teacher has been identified as Begam Farigana, daughter of Md Nawab Ali of Paobitek Mayai Leikai.
The teacher was on her way to school along with some students when unknown persons dragged her inside a parked car and drove away. Porompat police rushed to the spot to take stock of the incident.
