IMPHAL, Mar 13 : A hand grenade, along with a warning note reading 'KCP PWG Last Warning,' was found at the gate of a petrol pump located at Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai, in Imphal West, last night.
According to a reliable source, the hand grenade and the warning note were discovered around 9.30 pm at the gate of the BPCI Petrol Pump, owned by Sarungbam Premananda Singh (61), son of S Bihari Singh of Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai.
On receiving information about the hand grenade at the petrol pump, a team of Singjamei police rushed to the location and retrieved the explosive.
Singjamei police have registered a case regarding the incident
