Grace Beyond the Crab Society

To Him we all belong,
And unto Him, we shall return—
A truth we hold, though our hearts still yearn.
Madam Binarani, a soul so rare,
In a world of clamour, you breathed gentle air.
Among the circle of principals, your peers,
There are those who harboured spite and fears—
Like crabs in a basket, they’d pull and drag,
At any who rose, they’d claw and nag.
But you, dear Madam, were not like them,
You wore no mask, you sought no fame.
No cruel heart lived within your breast,
No whispered words to defame or test.
While others schemed to pull me down,
You stood apart, you wore no frown.
So sad the news, a sudden blow,
A pain too deep for words to show.
You’ve left our sight for that heavenly shore,
Where sorrow and struggle are no more.
From Moirang College, we stand as one—
Faculty, staff, beneath the setting sun.
We share in the grief, the silent tear,
For the kindest Principal we held so dear.
To the family left in sorrow’s embrace,
We offer our prayers, in this difficult space.
Madam Binarani, your memory will shine,
In the peace of the heavens, forever divine.
Rest in Peace.
