State Roll Ball players feted

IMPHAL, Mar 15 : State players who represented Manipur at three major National championships were feted with participation certificates during a programme held today at the seminar hall of the NIELIT, Akampat.
The felicitation programme for athletes who participated in the 14th Mini National Roll Ball Championship 2024, Guwahati; 18th Sub-Junior National Roll Ball Championship 2025, agra and 70th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship 2025, Erode (Tamil Nadu) was attended by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand, spouse of Yumnam Khemchand Yumnam Joybala, Dr Yumnam Jayanta, Executive Director, NIELIT, Imphal Centre and others as dignitaries.
Athletes, association functionaries, guardians, coaches and officials also attended the event, said the Manipur Roll Ball Association in a press release.
Laishram Sadananda who was adjudged the best upcoming players at the 70th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship 2025 was also encouraged with a trophy by Yumnam Joybala who attended the event as the chief guest, it added.
