Tbl 1st Divn League resumes after nearly two months

IMPHAL, Mar 15 : The 3rd L Chandrakiswhor Singh Memorial 1st Division Football League Tournament organised by the District Football Association, Thoubal resumed after almost two months.
In the fifth match of the tournament, HISU, Thoubal were held today a 1-1 draw by SUSAL, Langathel.
The two sides entered the half goalless but M Dayamad ended the goal drought in the 50th minute to put HISU up front. The lead however did not last long as Kh Poireinganba netted the equaliser in the 64th minute for SUSAL.
Later in the day, JJFA, Thoubal Haokha conceded a 3-2 lead as Paol’s own goal in the 76th minute helped SDAU, Tekcham salvage a point.
S Roshan earned SDAU the lead early in the 3rd minute but Deril (33’) and Kh Lanchenba (46’) scored to overturn the lead for JJFA until Roshan restored parity yet again in the 54th minute.
O Paol however retained the lead for JJFA in the 61st minute but he fumbled and conceded an own goal in the 76th minute to bring the two sides on level terms.
Eventually the game ended in a 3-3 draw.
