Yumnam Rakhi wins silver at All India Inter University Boxing Tournament

IMPHAL, Mar 15 : Yumnam Rakhi of Kakching Khunou College won Manipur University a silver medal at the All India Inter University Boxing Tournament for women that was hosted from March 9 by the Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab.
Rakhi suffered a 2-4 final loss to Sonali of Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora, Uttarakhand to settle for the silver medal.
The Manipur University boxing team was led by Oinam Ingobi of the Department of Sports, MU as the manager and L Chitaranjan of MABA as the coach.
