Assembly clears 7 Demands for Grants

IMPHAL, Mar 16: The Manipur Legislative Assembly passed seven Demands for Grants, amounting to Rs 2,524,88,16,000 during the ongoing House session today.
The 7th Session of 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly continued today with discussions and voting on Demands for Grants for the financial year 2026–27.
Leader of the House, Yumnam Khemchand Singh laid the 7 demands on the Table of the House for a total sum of Rs 2,524,88,16,000.
These include a sum of Rs 16,29,33,000 for Demand No 9- Information & Publicity; Rs 1,423,53,69,000 for Demand No 11- Medical, Health & Family Welfare Services; Rs 44,01,91,000 for Demand No 15- Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution; Rs 162,06,28,000 for Demand No 26- Administration of Justice; Rs 791,75,33,000 for Demand No 44- Social Welfare Department; Rs 36,12,52,000 for Demand No 45- Tourism and Rs 7,09,10,000 for Demand No 46- Science & Technology.
