11 promoted to IFS

IMPHAL, Mar 18 : Eleven Manipur State Forest Service officers have been promoted to the Indian Forest Service (IFS), boosting the institutional strength of forest administration in Manipur. The promoted officers include Dr Leishangthem Jeeceelee, Napoleon Rongmei, Waikhom Romabai, Laishram Gitla, SL Niangthianhoi, Mahamuda Begum, Elangbam Nirmala Chanu, Dr Rebika Soibam, Chinpilhing Kipgen, D Johh Sha and Vahneichong Singson. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India issued an order yesterday approving the promotion of these 11 officers for the year 2023.
