65th CC Meet opening deferred to March 30

IMPHAL, March 20 : The inauguration of Babina Group 65th Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial Football Tournament 2025-26 which was scheduled on March 20 earlier has been deferred owing to incompletion of CMS.
Notably, 29 local teams have confirmed their participation for the prestigious football tournament.
The teams include-
Group A : Regular Football Coaching Centre, Anouba Imagi Mangal, NEROCA FC and Pathap FC;
Group B : Imphal Youth Football Club, United Sports Association, TRUGPU and Imphal Football Academy;
Group C : North Eastern Sporting Union, Juvenile Club and Utlou FC;
Group D : Mayang Imphal United FC, Athletic Brothers’ Association, Rahee United Club and Nilla Memorial Football Academy;
Group E : Komol And Kumari FC, Sagolband United and Eastern Sporting Union;
Group F : Southern Sporting Union, United Youth Thamnapokpi and Social Welfare Club;
Group G : Football Club Kumbi, Youth Organisation Sporting Club, Social Development Club and Rising Athletic Union;
Group H : Social Sporting Club, Ziontlang Sincerity Youth Club, Sainik School Imphal Old Boys’ FC and Yairipok Football Club.
AMFA also informed all teams concerned to complete the CMS latest by March 25.
