N Birendra Kishore is new IWDRA president

IMPHAL, Mar 22 : N Birendra Kishore has been elected as the new president of the Imphal West District Rifle Association (IWDRA) as the association convened its general body meeting yesterday and elected its office bearers and executive committee members for a term of four years yesterday.
The general body meeting was held at Khuman Lampak Shooting Ranges, Imphal with Hijam Tikendrajit, former president of IWDRA in the chair, said IWDRA in a press note.
During the election, N Imo and Th Maniratan were elected as the new vice presidents while H Romesh was elected as the secretary along side two joint secretaries- S Somorendro and M Kanta.
N Khandajit was meanwhile elected as the treasurer of the district association.
8 executive committee members- S Alex, Th Amotomba, S Premila, N Kirankant, Y Herojit, Swami Kumar Leishangthem, K Prem and Ch Yudhananda and 5 advisors- M Rashbihari, L Nandakumar, Manibabu Likmabam, Hijam Tikendrajit, and Huirem Iswarlal were also elected during the meeting cum election of office bearers, it said.
