CM to leave for Delhi today

IMPHAL, Mar 23: Chief Minister Y Khemchand will leave for Delhi at 1.30 pm on Tuesday and hold a series of meeting with many BJP Central leaders and Union Ministers.
Sources said that Khemchand may hold a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu too.
The Chief Minister will call on many BJP Central leaders and talk about expansion of his Cabinet to the full capacity by inducting seven more Ministers.
Khemchand will also meet many Union Ministers and discuss the State’s law and order situation, resettlement of IDPs, economic position of Manipur and ways to alleviate it and other development matters, said the source.
Yumnam Khemchand was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Manipur along with two Deputy Chief Ministers–– Losii Dikho and Nemcha Kipgen on February 4.
Govindas Konthoujam and Khuraijam Loken were also sworn in as Cabinet Ministers on the same day.
Since then, the Chief Minister and the four Ministers have been running the Government which should have 12 Ministers and the Chief Minister Khemchand has not been able to expand his Cabinet to the full capacity till date.
