KCC hit rock bottom as rain spoils final league match

IMPHAL, Mar 23 : KCC, Kongba were condemned to the rock bottom in the league table of the 10th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Trophy as their final league match against CHAMP Cricket Club at Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground was abandoned due to rain.
Eventually, 12th place KCC, who scored one win in 11 matches that also included a tied game and two abandoned matches, were relegated to the Superplate Group alongside CRAU, who finished 11th with 6 points from 3 wins.
The other match between YWC and Model Club scheduled at Lairenjam playground was also abandoned forcing the teams sharing a point apiece. With the result, YWC escaped relegation threat and secured 10th position with 7 points from 3 wins in 10 matches.
