Grenade found

IMPHAL, Mar 23: A hand grenade was discovered in front of a shop at Thoubal Market yesterday. According to sources, the bomb was found lying between Soibam Variety Store and a chicken centre, both located on the southern side of Thoubal Market. On receiving the information, a team of Thoubal police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The State bomb expert team, along with the district Mobile Forensic Unit, arrived later and safely recovered the grenade. Thoubal police have registered a case.
