John FC, Football Lovers-NS post contrasting wins

IMPHAL, Mar 24 : John FC, Achanbigei and Football Lovers, Nongpok Sekmai (Football Lovers-NS) posted contrasting wins in the Group B matches of the ongoing 4th Samaram Trophy.
In the first match of the day, John FC thrashed Tentha Brothers by 4-0 goals.
John FC found the lead early in the second minute in the form of an own goal by Y Boni of Tentha Brothers before P Sanathoi (15’), S Toper (22’) and Y Monish (28’) took their turns to score a goal apiece.
Later in the second match, Football Lovers-NS sealed a slender 1-0 win over Football Lovers Manipur courtesy of Hemlet’s 29th minute strike.
