65th CC Meet opening scheduled on April 5

IMPHAL, Mar 25 : Babina Group 65th Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial Invitation Football Tournament is beginning on April 5 with RFCC taking on Pathap FC in a Group A match at Mapal Kangjeibung.
As many as 29 teams clustered into 8 groups are in the fray for the title of the prestigious tournament organised by the All Manipur Football Association.
Teams who are all set to compete at the tournament are as follows.
Group A : Regular Football Coaching Centre (RFCC), Anouba Imagi Mangal (AIM), NEROCA FC and Pathap FC;
Group B : Imphal Youth Football Club (IYFC), United Sports Association (USA), TRUGPU and Imphal Football Academy (IFA);
Group C : North Eastern Sporting Union (NESU), Juvenile Club and Utlou FC;
Group D : Mayang Imphal United FC (MIUFC), Athletic Brothers’ Association (ABA), Rahee United Club (RUC) and Nilla Memorial Football Academy (NMFA);
Group E : Komol And Kumari FC (KNK FC), Sagolband United (SU) and Eastern Sporting Union (ESU);
Group F : Southern Sporting Union (SSU), United Youth Thamnapokpi (UYT) and Social Welfare Club (SWC);
Group G : Football Club Kumbi (FC Kumbi), Youth Organisation Sporting Club (YOSC), Social Development Club (SDC) and Rising Athletic Union (RAU);
Group H : Social Sporting Club (SSC), Ziontlang Sincerity Youth Club (ZSYC), Sainik School Imphal Old Boys’ FC (Sainik FC) and Yairipok Football Club.
The tournament opener is scheduled at 2 pm.
