CM calls on President

IMPHAL, Mar 25 : Chief Minister Yumnam Khem-chand Singh called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi today.
The Chief Minister is expected to meet other Central leaders too including Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his stay in the National capital.
The President’s Office shared a photograph of the meeting in a post on X, stating, “Chief Minister of Manipur Shri Yumnam Khemchand Singh called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”
During the meeting, the President and the Chief Minister discussed the law and order situation in Manipur and the measures being taken to restore peace, as shared by the Chief Minister in a social media post.
"It was a profound honour to call on the Hon’ble President of India Droupadi Murmu Ji, at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.
"I had the privilege of apprising Her Excellency of the evolving situation in Manipur and the calibrated and coordinated response being undertaken to address the prevailing challenges. We held detailed deliberations on key issues con- cerning peace, stability, and the restoration of normalcy. "I underscored that unity, harmony, and peace remain the guiding principles of our approach, as we continue to work with utmost commitment towards safeguarding the well-being of all citizens.", the Chief Minister said.
