IMPHAL, Mar 25 : Tension gripped Singjamei Thok-chom Leikai in Imphal West today as a large crowd stormed the residence of Imagi Meira president Thokchom Sujata, protesting a controversial statement she allegedly made against Chief Minister Y Khemchand.
According to reports, the protest was sparked by a claim that Sujata had used unethical language against the Chief Minister, which was perceived as a violation of moral principles, professional standards, and social norms.
The protesters strongly voiced their disapproval of Sujata’s statement. They demanded a clarification from the Imagi Meira president.
