State Level Youth Parliament on Mar 27

IMPHAL, Mar 25 : The State Level Youth Parliament, organised by Mera Yuva Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, is scheduled to take place on March 27 at the Imphal Hotel’s Sangai Hall.
The event is part of the three-tier Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament initiative, following the completion of district-level rounds across all districts of Manipur.
Seventy selected youths, comprising 26 males and 44 females who emerged as top performers in the district-level competitions, will contest in the State-level parliament.
The day’s proceedings will focus on the topic: “Union Budget 2026: Strengthening the Indian Youth's Path Towards Viksit Bharat 2047”.
The function will be inaugurated by Th Satyabrata Singh, Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly. W Paulina Monsang, State Director of My Bharat, will preside over the function, with Dr Dhanabir Laishram, attending as the guest of honour.
Performances will be evaluated by a panel of five jury members from various universities and colleges.
Contestants are required to report at 9:30 am at the Sangai Hall for verification, registration, and identity card issuance.
The event aims to foster factual discussions and avoid personal opinions, adhering to the standard format for such reports.
