VFC thump UKFC 3-0 in 24th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tourney

IMPHAL, Mar 25 : VFC, Kakwa rode on H Momocha’s double to thrash UKFC, Uripok 3-0 in a Group A match of the ongoing 24th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament, 2026 today at Takyel.
VFC and UKFC started on a cautious note and entered the break goalless but VFC surged ahead when H Momocha found the target in the 53rd minute.
The goal sparked new life into the game and VFC carried forward the momentum to add another to their tally through A Jayenta in the 57th minute before Momocha found his second goal in the 59th minute to make the final scoreline read 3-0.
