CRPF vehicle torched in Tuibong

IMPHAL, Mar 25: A CRPF vehicle was vandalised and set ablaze at Churachandpur's Tuibong after two individuals were allegedly hit and injured by a vehicle of the security forces today.
Sources said the injured individuals were rushed to the Churachandpur District Hospital.
Angered by the incident, a mob confronted security personnel and burned down one vehicle of the CRPF.
Security personnel were seen trying to bring the situation under control.
Sounds of gunshots were also heard in the area. The situation remains tense, said the sources.
