Students showcase innovative ideas at Science exhibition in Thoubal

THOUBAL, Mar 25: The 44th District/Zonal Level Students' Science Exhibition, 2026, was held on Wednesday at Khangabok Higher Secondary School, bringing together young innovators from across Thoubal district.
Organised by the Science Unit of Zonal Education Office, Zone-III, Thoubal, the exhibition was conducted under the theme "STEM for Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat", and witnessed participation from students of Classes IX to XII.
The inaugural function was attended by ZEO Zone III, Thoubal, Y Achouba Singh; Vice-Principal of Khangabok Hr Sec School, Irom Shyamkeshow; AI of Schools Zone III, Thoubal, Th Brojen; among others as presidium members.
Asst Professor of Zoology Dept, Thoubal College, Dr S Saratkumar; and Asst Professor of Chemistry Dept, Dr A Satyabhama Devi, served as jury members for the exhibition.
Speaking in this connection, District Science Coordinator, Zone III, S Sanjoy stated that a total of 26 students from various institutions across the district participated in the exhibition, presenting innovative science models and projects.
He further informed that the top five participants will be selected to represent the district at the State-Level Science Exhibition.
