IMPHAL, Mar 27 : Pandam FC, Charangpat edged past UCFA, Laiphrakpam by 2-1 goals as Meira FCC thumped Samaram FC 2-0 for second straight win in the Group B matches of the ongoing 3rd Division Football League 2025-26 at Mini Stadium, Thoubal Ningombam.
In the first match of the day, Mangaljeet (11’) and Mohandsom (23’) put Pandam FC 2-0 ahead before K Abungo pulled back a goal for UCFA in the 32nd minute.
UCFA toiled hard to level the gap but Pandam FC thwarted their bid to open their group campaign on a winning note.
Later in the Meira FCC who notched up a commanding 4-0 win over FPMC, Khongjom in the previous match extended their winning run by defeating Samaram FC by 2-0 goals today. Devaraj found the lead early in the 5th minute before Santosh doubled the advantage in the 35th minute. The scoreline remained unchanged despite Samaram FC’s struggle to reduce the deficit.
