AMUCO meets Tarao leaders

THOUBAL, Mar 28: Leaders of the All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation  (AMUCO) and the Imphal-Moreh Highway Welfare Committee went to Heikakpokpi, Chandel district today and held a meeting with leaders of Tarao tribe.
The meeting deliberated on the State’s prevailing restive situation, the need for collective efforts to restore peace in the State and development issues.
The Tarao tribe leaders highlighted the difficulties and challenges the community has been facing at present including socio-economic problems and educa- tion-related issues.
The meeting agreed that the AMUCO, Tarao community and all other stake- holders will work together toward restoring peace in the State.
AMUCO president S Sanjoy, advisor Ito Tongbram, general secretary L Pratap, Imphal-Moreh Highway Welfare Committee president Laishram Subhash, MSF general Secretary Sunder, National Research Centre (NRC) president Th Ajit and ACODOM secretary Budha Meitei were present at the meeting.
