IMPHAL, Mar 29: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand has greeted people on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir.
"Lord Mahavir's life and his teachings are a beacon of light for all humanity. His eternal messages of Ahimsa (none-violence), Satya (truth), Aparigraha (non-possession) and Anekantavada (pluralism) are practical guides for peaceful coexistence among all communities of our State," said the CM in his message to the people.
"Lord Mahavir reminds us that true progress lies in compassion, tolerance, and respect for every living being. May his blessings guide us all on the path of righteousness, peace, and mutual respect," added the CM.
