Shops to remain closed

IMPHAL, Mar 29: Shops, business and other institutions belonging to the members of Shree Digambar Jain Samaj, Imphal will remain closed on Monday (March 30) on the occasion of Bhagwan Mahavir Janm Kaltanak Mahotsav, it has said.
"Ahimsa Paramo Dharma (non-violence is the highest religion). May His message of Anekantavada (mutual respect for diverse views), compassion and universal brotherhood and forgiveness guide us toward lasting peace and harmony in our beautiful State of Manipur. We pray that the spirit of forgiveness and coexistence strengthens the bonds between all communities," said the Shree Digambar Jain Samaj, greeting the people on the occasion.
