Bali conclave kicks off

A two-day international conclave aimed at strengthening economic, trade and investment ties between Manipur and Southeast Asia was launched in Bali.
The conclave, organised under the leadership of Singapore-based entrepreneur, founder of Amethyst Partners (Singapore), Yumnam Sanajaoba and Dr Ch lbohal Meitei, Professor of MIMS and Director, Research and Development Cell, Manipur University. The conclave focused on building an organised and sustainable platform to enable Manipur to exchange trade, skills development, entrepreneurship and investment opportunities with ASEAN countries while strategically aligning with India's Act East Policy. Held on the themes--connectivity, culture, commerce and capacity building, the conclave discussed initiatives that could be useful for transformation of economic, entrepreneurship, employability and overall business landscape in Manipur. About 40 people from across the globe including personalities from industry and academia from Manipur attended the conclave.
