Inferno reduces house to cinders at Tarung

IMPHAL, Mar 2 : A devastating fire that broke out in the wee hours of today completely gutted a house at Tarung, Langol Road in Thangmeiband.
The fire is suspected to have started from an electric short circuit, though nothing has been officially confirmed.
The house belonged to one K Dahrii Sha and all the household items kept inside the house have been burnt to ashes. This is apart from Rs 2.5 lakh in cash.
The fire has also destroyed all the academic cer- tificates and documents of the children of Dahrii Sha. The fire broke out at about 3.15 am today. By the time Fire Brigade arrived, the house had been completely reduced to cinders.
