Khemchand calls on Bhalla

IMPHAL, Mar 2: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Lok Bhavan here this afternoon.
Ajay Kumar Bhalla left for Delhi on February 25 and came back today after meeting many Central leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Ajay Kumar Bhalla who is also serving as Governor in-charge of Nagaland reached Imphal from Kohima in a helicopter after giving the customary Governor’s address at the inaugural session of the Nagaland State Assembly today. Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand visited the Governor at the Lok Bhavan at 5 pm and the two talked for around 15 minutes.
Even though what exactly transpired at the meeting could not be ascertained, sources said that the Chief Minister and the Governor might have talked about expansion of the State Cabinet and holding the State Assembly’s budget session after the Yaoshang festival is over. Earlier, MLA Thokchom Radheshyam called on the Governor at around 4.30 pm.
