Arms recovered

IMPHAL, Mar 2: Security forces recovered arms and ammunition from Old Gothol village under Churachandpur police station today.
The items recovered include one country-made Single Barrel Rifle, one Bolt Action Rifle, one country-made grenade, one .22 Rifle with telescopic sight, one pumpi ammunition, four Single Barrel ammunition, one pumpi mortar and five country-made sahells.
In a separate operation, police arrested a person allegedly involved in extor- tion activities in Imphal West. The arrested has been identified as Waikhom Ratan Singh (46) of Moirang- khom Loklaobung. Ratan was arrested from his residence, and police recovered one 9mm Pistol from him.
