IMPHAL, Mar 8: The seventh session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly which was adjourned sine die on February 5, 2026 will resume on March 9, 2026 at the State Assembly, Chingmeirong. The Assembly session scheduled to resume from Monday will have seven sittings and it will continue  till March 17, 2026. According to a provisional calendar of sittings issued by the Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Supplementary Demands for Grants 2025-26 and Budget Estimates 2026-27 will be presented on March 9. The House will also discuss the Governor’s address on the same day. The next day (March 10) will feature general discussion on Supplementary Demands for Grants 2025-26, discussion and voting on Supplementary Demands for Grants, 2025-26, general discussion on Budget Estimates 2026-27 and introduction of the Manipur Appropriation (No 1) Bill, 2026. The Manipur Appropriation (No 1) Bill, 2026 will be considered and passed on March 11 in addition to discussing and voting on Demands for Grants, 2026-27. Discussion and voting on Demands for Grants, 2026-27 will continue from March 12 to March 17.
There will be no sitting on March 14 and 15.  
Manipur Appropriation (No 2) Bill, 2026 will be introduced on March 17. As per the provisional schedule, time slots have been provided for raising questions on March 12, 13, 16 and 17.
