Village authority appeals

TENGNOUPAL, Mar 8: The Chief of Sibong Khudengthabi village in Tengnoupal district has made an urgent appeal to the concerned authorities for the immediate release of the second installment under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), citing the deteriorating condition of houses currently under construction. In a statement, chief of the village, Ch Pacho stated that the delay in releasing the second installment for PMAY beneficiaries in Sibong Khudengthabi village has led to serious deterioration of  the under-construction structures, which have been exposed to harsh weather conditions since early 2025. He urged authorities concerned to immediately release the pending installment so that beneficiaries can complete the construction of their homes.
