‘Bal Vivah Mukti Rath’ campaign held

Bishnupur, Mar 8: The ‘Bal Vivah Mukti Rath’ campaign aimed at spreading awareness against child marriage has successfully concluded in Bishnupur district after travelling extensively across villages and towns educating the public on the harmful effects and legal consequences of child marriage.
New Life Foundation in a release said that the campaign was organised as part of the Nationwide 100-day intensive awareness programme launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on December 4, 2025, to mark one year of the ‘Child Marriage Free India’ initiative. The programme was carried out in collaboration with New Life Foundation (NLF), an NGO partner of Just Rights for Children. The 30-day campaign covered 53 villages.
