Utlou FC take Maj Dr Jyotin Memorial Football Tourney crown

IMPHAL, Mar 8 : Utlou FC emerged as the champions of the Maj Dr Jyotin Singh Ashok Chakra (P) Memorial Football Tournament organised by the Indian Army at DSA Bishnupur Playground.
Utlou FC defeated ESU, Wangkhei Palace Compound by  4-0 goals to secure the title of the tournament on March 3. Amarjit (8’, 45+3’) shone with a brace in the team’s comprehensive title win as Jackson (21’) and Johnson (80’) chipped in a goal apiece.
Utlou FC’s Nongthombam Naobi and Oinam Roshan were also respectively named the best goalkeeper and the best player.
