Khemchand chairs security meet

IMPHAL, Apr 9 : Chief Minister Yumnam Khem-chand chaired a security meeting this evening at the Cabinet Hall of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Home Minister, Govindas Konthoujam, Chief Secretary, Commissioner (Home), ADGPs, IGPs, DIGs, SPs of all districts led by DGP.
Some SPs who could not attend the meeting physically attended the meeting virtually. The meeting was held in view of the security scenario arising out of the Tronglaobi incident. Khemchand directed all the high-ranking civil and police officers to closely monitor the situation and make every effort to improve the law-and-order situation.
Yesterday, the Chief Minister chaired a security meeting of the Unified Command at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
