Hunger striker pulled up

IMPHAL, Apr 10 : In the midst of the ongoing mass hunger strike launched in protest against the Tronglaobi killings, People's Alliance for Peace and Progress, Manipur (PAP-PM) president Mayanglam- bam Bobby Meitei was picked up by a team of Nambol police yesterday night in view of his deteriorating health condition.
The PAPPM president is currently receiving treatment at RIMS Hospital.
Village Volunteer Force Manipur president Takhellambam Ramananda has since taken his place.
PAPPM had launched the mass hunger strike in the aftermath of the Tronglaobi bomb attack at Malom Awang Leikai Community Hall on April 7.
