MBC condemns

IMPHAL, Apr 13: Condemning the tragic Tronglaobi incident, the Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC) has appealed to the Government and the concerned authorities to take necessary steps to thoroughly investigate the matter and identify those responsible, to ensure delivery of justice.
In a press release, MBC expressed its deep sorrow and concern over the incident which claimed the lives of two innocent children and left their mother with serious injuries.
MBC has reasoned that timely and appropriate action will help reassure the public and contribute to maintaining peace and order.
In this time of sorrow, MBC has extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured mother. It has further issued an appeal to all communities to remain calm and refrain from any actions that may escalate tensions.
