Pandam FC, UCFA play out goalless draw

IMPHAL, Apr 1 : Pandam FC, Charangpat played out a goalless draw with Samaram FC to remain unbeaten in three Group B games of the ongoing 3rd Division Football League Tournament organised by the District Football Association, Thoubal.
Pandam FC, having secured two back to back wins, earned one more point from the result and eventually went atop of the Group B table.
Later in the day, FPMC, Khongjom ended their 2-game winless run by thrashing UCFA, Laiphrakpam by 5-0 goals.
Mahesh opened the scoring for FPMC in the 12th minute off a penalty before M Tamo (19’) and Achouba (26’) took their turns to make it 3-0 at halftime.
Pibathoi then quickfired two goals back to back in the 43rd and the 46th minutes to complete the 5-0 rout of UCFA.
