3rd MNCA U-15 Girls One Day Trophy Y Sungsung shines as PCC overwhelm SU by 7 wickets

IMPHAL, Apr 1 : PCC, Mayaikoibi pulled off a 7 wickets win over Sagolband United in a Group A match of the ongoing 3rd U-15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
PCC won the toss and restricted SU to 166/6 in 28 overs after electing  to field first. They rode on P Kebisana and 77 extras to seal the victory within 27.4 overs.
Earlier in the first innings, PCC conceded 107 extras while Ngasepam Sweety and Tamphasana Rajkumari added identical 18 runs apiece for SU. Yumnam Sungsung led the PCC bowling attack and returned with the best haul of 3/14 in this innings as Kebisana (1/15) and Riyasana Sougrakpam (1/32) picked a wicket apiece.
In reply, Yumnam Sungsung 22 off 64 and Kebisana 44 off 72 balls gathered 110 runs for the first wicket before Soubam Bidiya scored an unbeaten 21 off 45 balls to sealed the victory in 27.4 overs with Chirm Shiritan 3 not out off 17 balls.
Heigrujam Mangalleibi returned with the best figures of 3/21 for SU in this innings.
