IMPHAL, Apr 4 : PTRC, Patsoi Part IV defeated TCMDC, Thongju Part II Pechu Lampak by 69 runs for the second Group A win in the 3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 as YPHUC, Lalambung steamrolled STYCC, Sagolband Tera Keithel by 335 runs in a Group B match.
At THAU ground, PTRC who beat MPA, Thounaojam by 7 wickets rode on a half century knock from Laitonjam Purnima (64 off 73 balls ; 6 fours) and 56 extras to raise 204 for all wickets down in 28.5 overs before bowlers held TCMDC to 135/9 in the allotted 30 overs.
Laishram Bigyapati also quickfired 41 off 25 balls (6 fours) in the first innings that saw TCMDC skipper Ningthoisana Thoudam (4/30 in 5.5 overs) and Ch Priyadasni (2/47 in 6 overs) securing 6 crucial wickets.
In reply, Ningthoisana scored a 47-ball 50 for TCMDC but her effort went in vain as Laitonjam Silky (3/37), Thokchom Dimple (2/21) and Laitonjam Benita (2/26) gradually throttled their chase.
Elsewhere at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, YPHUC, who went down by 272 runs to SHADOW in their league opener (Group B), rode on an allround show from Suchitra Devi Waikhom to demolish debutants STYCC, Sagolband Tera Keithel by 335 runs.
Suchitra clobbered 25 fours on the way to her unbeaten 152 off 82 balls and helped YPHUC erect a massive total of 349/3 in 30 overs before claiming 9 wickets to bundle out STYCC for 14 runs in 7 overs.
It was a dismal show in both the departments for STYCC as they conceded 113 extras in the first innings before they slumped to a meagre total of 14 runs in reply.
Amakcham Salainganbi was the only wicket taker for the team who also conceded as many as 104 runs in her spell of 6 overs. She was also the highest run getter for the team on 4 off 3 balls as her 8 compatriots departed on ducks.
Suchitra who dazzled with both the bat and ball was adjudged player of the match.
