5th MNCA Boys U14 One Day Trophy Syed Bahir smacks 122 in FORCE’s 137-run victory against CYSA

IMPHAL, Apr 5 : Syed Bahir and bowlers guided FORCE, Kshetrigao to a commanding 137-run victory against CYSA, Khangabok in a Group B encounter of the ongoing 5th MNCA Boys U14 One Day Trophy.
Put in to bat first at Khudeiband Lampak, FORCE amassed 259 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 30 overs riding on a  blistering century knock (105-ball 122) from Syed Bahir and 72 extras before bowlers dismissed CYSA for 122 runs within 15.5 overs.
Moirangthem Sanathoi (2/19) and Ningthoujam Hari Singh (2/38) led the CYSA bowling attack in the first innings as N Dandan and N Poireinganba picked a wicket apiece before they collapse at 122 in the face of fierce bowling attack led by Ashraf Ali (3/12 in 2 overs).
Laishram Paringanba 33 off 26 balls and Ningthoujam Hari Singh 22 off 15 balls were the leading run getters for CYSA.
Epham Ayman Khan (2/13), Epham Muskur (2/13), and Syed Ashif (2/38) were also among the wickets for FORCE.
Elsewhere at Moijing Public Ground, PCC, Mayaikoibi overcame RULE Meitram by 1 wicket for their first Group D win.
Meanwhile at Model Hr Sec and Oriental College Ground, SSC, Porompat beat SDO, Keirao Makting by 6 wickets in a Group A match as TCMDC, Thongju thumped KCC, Kongba Bazar by 120 runs in a Group C match at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground.
