3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy Y Echapamu bowls MPA to 172 run victory against PCC

IMPHAL, Apr 5 : Yumnam Echapamu produced a stellar bowling performance to guide MPA, Thounaojam to a huge 172-run victory against PCC, Mayaikoibi today in a Group A match of the ongoing 3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy at THAU ground, Thangmeiband.
MPA raised a massive total of 215/8 wickets after electing to bat first before bowling out PCC for 43 runs with Y Echapamu (6/14 in 4.2 overs) and Shintha (2/6 in 1 over) leading the demolition job for MPA.
Chongtham Senorika scored a 99-ball 59 and Salaingambi Thokchom scored a 25-ball 44  to help MPA post 215/8 in the first innings that saw PCC conceding 65 extras.
For PCC, Riyasana Sougrakpam (3/31), Kebisana Devi Puyam (2/37) and Soubam Bidiya (2/52) were among the wickets before Soubam Bidiya emerged the only double digit run getter for PCC on 13 runs off 20 balls.
Echapamu was adjudged player of the match.
