Manipur go down by 3 wickets in NECDC U23 Women’s Inter State Tournament

IMPHAL, Apr 6 : Manipur went down by 3 wickets to Mizoram in a match of the NECDC U23 Women’s Inter State Tournament 2026 today at Sikkim Cricket Ground, Rangpo.
Manipur opted to bat first and posted 70 runs for 7 wickets but Mizoram fought their way to the target for the loss of 7 wickets with 1 ball left to spare.
For Manipur, Barkatun Khanam 15 and Sheikh Neha 12 led the scoring as Thelma 2/16 and Zothanmawii Rokhum 2/17 led the Mizoram bowling attack.
In reply, skipper Hmangaihsangi Syhlo anchored with an unbeaten 28 off 51 balls to seal the victory with Zothansangi Sangi 2 not out off 5 balls after Konsam Sayatombi 3/16 and Thoudam Mangalsana 2/4 did their best to keep Mizoram line up in check.
