TCMDC, LCC win in Mema Memorial T20 Veteran Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Apr 6 : TCMDC, Thongju and LCC, Lamsang secured wins in today’s matches of the ongoing 3rd Khomdram (O) Hijam Mema Devi Memorial T20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026 at Langthabal Public Ground.
TCMDC got the better of LCCC, Lilong Chajing by 6 wickets for the second straight wins riding on leading knocks from Gulshananda 42 not out off 48 balls, Krishna 25 off 13 balls and Brajakumar 11 not out off 15 balls.
LCCC posted 111/8 after electing to bat first thanks to Shibadatta’s half century knock 57 off 58 balls and Ibotomba’s 21 off 20 balls.
Brajakumar 2/21 and Bijesh 2/16 shared four wickets for TCMDC in this innings before Dipak 2/20, Bijen 1/16 and Kison 1/27 shared four wickets for LCCC.
Brajakumar who shone with both the bat and ball was declared man of the match.
Later in the day, LCC posted their first Group D win in two matches by beating BSC-B, Brahmapur Laljilakpa Leikai by 18 runs.
LCC were dismissed for 127 runs in 19.5 overs but the total proved too big for BSC-B as they ended up gathering 109/8 in the chase.
Dippu 3/19, Vedeshor 3/22 and Banikanta 2/23 shone with the ball for BSC in the first innings that saw Nandakumar 39 and Romendro 34 leading the scoring for LCC.
For BSC-B, Johnson 30 and Vedeshor 17 not out were the leading run getters in a lost cause as Rajmani 2/14, Premjit 1/10 and Nandakumar 1/15 shared 4 crucial wickets for LCC.
Nandakumar was eventually named the man of the match.
