IMPHAL, Apr 6 : The 8th Manipur State Level Hun-Thadou Cultural Festival Organising Committee (HFOC), 2026 has announced that all preparations have been successfully completed for the festival slated for April 7 at Hotel Imphal, Manipur.
Separately, the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has conveyed best wishes to the Thadou community on the solemn occasion of Hun-Thadou Cultural Festival.
It has expressed hope for unity within the Thadou community and for the group to play a vital role in restoring peace in Manipur.
COCOMI called upon the communities in the valley to take part in the festival and foster inter-community bonds of love.
According to HFOC, the festival will be celebrated under the theme “Upholding Our Identity, Shaping Our Destiny”, reflecting the collective aspiration to preserve cultural heritage while shaping a stronger and unified future.
