IMPHAL, May 21 : The Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed the public that the newly installed 33 KV transmission line from Iroisemba Sub-station to National Sports University, Koutruk will be test charging on May 22, 2026, at 7am.
For public safety, MSPCL has advised the public not to venture near the newly installed transmission line, poles and related electrical installation during and after the test charging period.
The company also advised all not to touch any electrical equipment, stray wire, conductors or any supporting structures. Jungle cutting, tree cutting, bamboo or any form of vegetation clearing near the transmission line corridor is strictly prohibited without prior permission from the authority concerned. Any unauthorized activity near the line may lead to serious accidents including electric shock or loss of life.
